EPILOGUE
Legends, Sagas & Fairy Tales Index
It is a whole 'nother story but eventually, Lady Shaishana, the Wizard and Black ThunderWings were freed from the Gargoyles' trap.  Thanks to a crafty little cat named Miss Farnaby, who with her unerring feline instincts, and driven by her longing for her friend the Dragon and their midnight flights, had pestered the Wench and the Blue One with her incessant crying and that getting-underfoot-as-only-a-cat-can until they followed her to Lady Shaishana's castle.  There, alarmed by her absence, and Wench Val's memory of the glee in the Lady's eyes when she learned of a "Secret," it dawned on the Gargoyle what must have transpired.  While Miss Farnaby tried to console Lady Siamsa, the Castle Kitten who cried for both Lady S. and the Dragon, the Blue One was eventually able to persuade the Elder Gargoyles to agree to the release of the unlucky travellers from their paradise prison.
The question now remains ... has Lady Shaishana been cured of her all-consuming need to ferret out secrets, or will she continue to rush in where angels fear to tread?
       Stay tuned ...
