CONGRATULATIONS
to my Home Boys for
Winning the World Cup Semi-Final
in Seoul, South Korea
on 24 June 2002
Oliver Kahn at his best
Hallelujah!
Fritz Walter, 1921-2002
This page dedicated to the memory of Fritz Walter
The Captain who led the the German Team to their first ever
World Cup Win in 1954 over Hungary
Hats off to the Korean Team.  They fought bravely!
(Pictured:  Woo Sang Chul)
Michael Ballack sacrificed himself for his team:
A foul that might have saved the game but it was his second yellow card
meaning he will not be allowed to play in the finale in Yokohama.
A dream down the drain -- and a sad loss for the team!
Oliver Kahn and Lee Woon-Jae exchanging jerseys after the game.
Two goal keepers: one happy, one sad.
If it had been anyone other than Germany playing, I really
would have liked to see Korea go on the the Finals!

SORRY ABOUT
YOKOHAMA

There WILL Be A
NEXT TIME

(see you all in 2006!!!!!)
Michael Ballack just scored the only goal of the game.
Lee Woon-Jae, the Korean goal keeper,
tried but couldn't stop the ball from going in the net.
